Also, I saw some video's of Dr. Brian Clement in which he explains the benefits of juicing. For great recipes you can experiment with all kinds of vegetables. I started out with a juice in which I used apple, ginger, arugula, fennel, parsley, lemon, etc. Use your imagination.
One thing is sure: it does make a big difference if you have difficulty assimilating or digesting your food properly. The vitamins and minerals will be transported to your bloodstream immediately! However, juices should not be used as a substitute. Juices should be accompanied by foods that contain a lot of fiber.
